Master’s thesis on nation branding
Academically I’ve specialized in international relations alongside marketing and communications. In my master’s thesis, I combined all three of those topics that are close to my heart.
In my research I studied how Singapore is positioning itself within the international community by using identity-building narratives and various nation branding techniques. My research material was collected from Singapore’s own campaign Passion Made Possible which I also studied closely while working at the Embassy of Finland in Singapore.
The thesis was graded 4/5. It is available only in Finnish and can be downloaded online.
