
Getting the media coverage
I’m experienced in getting earned media coverage: writing effective press releases, doing media distribution, pitching the topic to the most suitable journalists and following the topic with media monitoring.
The platforms I’ve used the most for distributions are Cision, ePressi, STT Info and GlobeNewswire. For media monitoring and making analysis I’ve always used the Meltwater platform.

Reaching the right audiences
I’ve written the Finnish press releases on Earth Speakr and also created and done the media pitching. For example Helsingin Sanomat released an article based on my pitch, reaching an audience of nearly 350 000 people.
Earth Speakr is an interactive artwork by artist Olafur Eliasson. It comprises an app, a website, physical presentations, and it was a central component of the cultural programme on the occasion of the German Presidency of the Council of the EU.

Having fun with it
What happens in the bedrooms of Finnish couples and what are the secret wishes of partners?
I’ve written multiple press releases based on a research survey to Kaalimato.com, the biggest Finnish sex toy shop online. After media distribution, the written articles have been pitched to media representatives and later published on Iltalehti, Ilta-Sanomat and MeNaiset.
Furthermore, I’ve done media monitoring and reporting on the topics.

Informative yet important
Just like every other major company listed in the Helsinki Stock Exchange, Orion needs to inform investors of its managers’ transactions. Orion is a globally operating Finnish pharmaceutical company.
I’ve written multiple transaction releases and distributed them via GlobeNewsWire press release system to be spread to all company channels, media outlets but also to global stock exchange portals.
